L’etoile Cafe @ Owen Road

I need to give this place a second chance – I know it has a really nice chill vibe upstairs and quaint decor.. but we sat outside on a picnic bench and didn’t get to see the inside at all! Pretty jokes hahaha I’ll be back to check it out when my food list runs out.

Contrary to popular belief, this place now serves dinner as well! Great that they expanded their menu. It’s a very quiet and peaceful spot, truly away from the buzz of town and places like that.

Linguine Vongole ($18.90). Nice and generous helping! And as you can see there’s lots of fresh seafood on the plate. The sauce was really good too. The seafood taste came through strongly, and it was just the right amount of garlic for me.

Smoked Duck Sandwich ($13.90). A few thin slices of smoked duck breast sandwiched between two slices of toasted foccacia. If you like your bread almost like toast, you’d have enjoyed this. I liked it! The duck was kinda non-existent though. But overall it filled me up pretty good!

Chicken Cordon Bleu ($18.90). Chicken was rather dry and the bf didn’t enjoy it too much.

Chicken Ballotine ($18.90). Chicken leg stuffed with mushrooms. Didn’t try this but it looked not bad!

Sorry there aren’t any pictures of the place at all! Next time. Hahah this is really one of the shortest/ quickest posts I’ve done!
