Super super belated post:
Bf and I love Italian food so we checked out this new eatery (yes it was new when we ate it, my post lags) and we liked it!
Ciao to this bread basket which came with bread that was piping hot! Plus point immediately.
They’ve this fried beer bread thing which is rather addictive, and that salsa on the side had me hooked.
Crostino – a thin focaccia with melted Taleggio cheese, prosciutto, black olives tapenade and balsamic vinegar. Pizza’s not always the bf’s first choice, but he nodded to this. All sorts of tasty and well balanced flavours.
Squid ink linguine which had nothing to fault as well. Just a whole lot of fresh pasta (I have a weak spot for fresh pasta), a good mix of seafood and greens in a very tasty seafood sauce.
Ravioli di Brasato – beef stuffed ravioli in chianti sauce. Every piece was wonderfully done. Soft, tasty, tender beef in perfectly al dente ravioli and with a rich wine sauce to boot. Worth it!
So we left with happy bellies, and what really sealed the deal for us was the good Italian food at verrrry decent prices, each item we had being below $20. But if I’m not wrong, prices have increased quite a bit so do check out the online menus before you head there!
