It isn’t often that we head to such outlets opened in town – these chains often don’t have the best of food to offer, but Miam Miam is rather good! Their name reminds me of how mums feed babies – “Boy open your mouth! Time to eat, mum mum!!” LOL but yes Miam Miam is YUM YUM in French.
In the background you have the squid ink rice ($16.5). A tad too salty for me, but rather generous with prawns and squid. The egg was nice and runny too.
Miam Miam Cappellini ($15.8). I’m not a huge fan of Jap pastas; I’m more of a fan of the Italian pastas in all its richness and decadent glory, BUT this is something I’d have again. It’s simple, tossed with shoyu and their ‘secret broth’, topped with many things you’d find in your big breakfast brunch. Bacon, sausages, tomatoes, spinach, onions and a a soft boiled egg!
French Toast ($9.8)! These were soft, dense squares of typical french toast goodness, made better with maple syrup and that highly addictive clotted cream.
There’s another outlet at Westgate, and I heard that outlet is brighter/ grander so try checking that out instead!
EDIT: Friends and I went to Westgate one day and concluded that this place is probably not worth it 😦 Food wasn’t good, service was incredibly slow and there’s not much that is worth it here. Brotzeit or the many other food outlets might be a better choice there!!
